Tax Reporting Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent preparation of regularly recurring tax returns, e.g. sales tax, capital gains tax or withholding tax
  • Preparation of or assistance in the preparation of tax returns as well as the review of tax assessments
  • Ongoing tax advice to the organizational units on national tax law issues
  • Participation in national and international external tax audits
  • Responsibility for the execution of tax compliance management tasks, processes and documentation related to income and sales tax
  • Involvement within tax related projects
  • Contact person for external institutions in relation to tax issues, in particular tax authorities and auditors and tax auditors
  • Monitoring of legal changes and developments

Requirements

  • Degree in economics with a focus on taxation, finance or banking, law or equivalent skills and experience
  • Completed tax consultant examination
  • Professional experience in the tax department of a bank or auditing firm / tax consulting firm with an audit focus on banks / financial institutions
  • Very good MS-Office skills, very good English language skills
  • Independent, efficient and structured way of working, good communication and team skills, high level of commitment, analytical thinking as well as strong consulting skills
