Your Responsibilities

  • Efficient communication with Head of WIM to identify and understand requirements, business strategy, problems, inefficiencies and gaps in existing Business Applications and business processes related to WIM: client-facing systems including web-based portals and mobile applications; deal execution platforms, back-office and accounting systems; integration between systems
  • Managing business expectations
  • Defining the technology strategy aligned to the business strategy, defend and motivate implementation of the strategy
  • Paying attention to re-usability of solutions and modern technological trends
  • Vendor management
  • Identifying, analyzing and validating requirements for changes to Business Applications and business processes
  • Controlling the implementation of new applications and management of application change requests / modules / features and changes
  • Managing the book of work and communicate tasks and progress within the team, to other IT teams and the business stakeholders
  • Pro-actively propose on efficiency and/or user-friendliness improvements
  • Guiding business users for compiling of requirement specifications and functional specifications
  • Compiling of proposals and coordination of proposals between Business Department and software vendors
  • Management of project tasks including project-related and/or mandatory documentation
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance of new releases and changes requested by business

Requirements

  • Degree in (business-) informatics or business economics.
  • IT, project and process management certifications are an advantage
  • Working experience in a universal bank (> 5 years, 2 years in management positions min. 3 team members)
  • Agile-team management skills
  • Experience in Online Retail IT department is very advantageous
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Profound functional know-how of infrastructure needed to operate banking applications
  • General knowledge and working experience in all IT areas
  • Ability to handle separate tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within western Europe and Russia
  • Sensibility regarding working in a multi-cultural international environment
  • Technical / programming background is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience of IT governance, process and controls is beneficial
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Business spoken and written English is mandatory
  • German and Russian are advantageous
